Fina is a certified Physiotherapist who graduated from Masterskills College University of Health. She is a registered member of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA) and Allied Health Act 2016 (MAHPS (MAHPC (PT):02599) membership of which mandates a strict adherence to professional codes of conduct in the practice of physiotherapy. With 13 years of clinical experience in both private hospital and academic settings, Fina has managed a wide range of patients, both in-patient and out-patient.
In the course of her career, she has developed an interest in neuro, pediatrics and pelvic health rehabilitation. She is a dedicated physiotherapist, always going the extra mile in assisting her patients’ recovery.
She is passionate about helping women with pelvic health issues like urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse, devising treatment programs which include physical activities that help to increase a patient’s confidence and facilitate quicker recovery.
Fina constantly seeks ways to challenge herself and improve in her field. To date, she has attended the ERO Health Care pre and post-maternity program and pelvic health workshop (theory & practical) to enhance her knowledge in women’s health.
She also has extensive experience working with children who have neurological challenges and cares for rehabilitating children as much as adults. She attended the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program by Asian Health and Fitness Academy where she learnt how to interact with children and incorporate modified technique of Gross Motor Function Classification (GMFC).
Fina enjoys listening to music and travelling during her free time.
