Wani is a certified Physiotherapist who graduated from UiTM Puncak Alam and is a registered member of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA), membership of which mandates a strict adherence to professional codes of conduct in the practice of physiotherapy. During her undergraduate studies in UiTM, Wani gained clinical experience in 5 different general hospitals throughout West Malaysia that exposed her to a wide range of in-patient and out-patient conditions. Having a strong interest in anatomy and kinesiology, she developed her passion in musculoskeletal disorders, especially shoulder cases and spine conditions, which include back pain and cervicogenic headache, vertigo related to cervical and inner ear problems. Travelling from the northern to the southern part of West Malaysia, researching data on posture, physical function and fall among elderly with low back pain, helped her to deepen her understanding on geriatric rehabilitation.
With 6 years of experience in carrying out physiotherapy treatment, she believes a holistic approach which includes electrical modalities, manual therapy, and exercise can maximize a patient’s recovery. Her key strength lies in utilizing evidence-based knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure that every patient receives a unique experience in order to achieve their maximum level of mobility.
In her spare time, Wani enjoys mobilegraphy especially sunset views, and watching movies on Netflix.
